Kimara’s study focuses on military conflicts and how communication plays a crucial role in conflict management and peaceful reconciliation, among the people and government of affected countries.
It sought to understand how the media can use its platform during times of conflict to encourage unity and peace, and the importance of public relations professionals during these times. It also examined what impacts the reform of the media has had on public relations and offers insights to support the work of public relations professionals in particular sectors, especially those focusing on government communications.
