The human need to communicate is universal. Learning to communicate efficiently between people and between groups is necessary for human progress to occur. However, like money and power, knowledge is unevenly shared between the populations of the world.
This is where Public Relations Without Borders comes in. Working with other non-profit organizations, PRWB identifies situations where more efficient communications can make a big difference. PRWB has conducted some 30 missions to date. In Africa and Latin America, its projects are helping to prevent violence against women and children, encouraging participation in programs to revitalize farming, supporting fair trade co-ops and improving access to education.
This workshop will explore the many ways in which good public relations can contribute to shaping a better world.
